GOD IS NOT MAD AT YOU:For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. -John 3:16 God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. -Romans 5:8 The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. -2Peter 3:9
SIN SEPARATES YOU FROM GOD:God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful kindness became more abundant. So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful kindness rules instead, giving us right standing with god and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. -Romans 5:20-21 All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. -Romans 3:23
THE CROSS CONNECTS YOU TO GOD:Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. -John 14:6 Everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. -John 11:26 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. -Romans 10:9
TO EXPERIENCE THIS NEW LIFE IN CHRIST, SAY THIS PRAYER:
Father God, Thank you for sending Your son Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for my sins. I recognize that I am a sinner in need of a Savior and choose to turn away from those sins and follow You. I proclaim Jesus as my Lord and Savior and welcome Your Holy Spirit into my life. I receive Your forgiveness for my sins and thank You that they are wiped away by the shed blood of Jesus. I am now a new creation in Christ and all things have become new! I will trust and follow You from this day forward. Amen.
