FEBRUARY
1 – HALF TIME: Our winter bible study groups are underway and will run every Wednesday at 7PM for nine weeks. The subject is “People of the Covenant” and the cost is $10 for the book. Childcare will be available. Email us for locations.
2 – PRAYER: The first Thursday of every month we gather for prayer at the Beach Club from 6:30PM-8. There is also a time of prayer every Sunday morning at 8:45AM before service. Everyone is welcome to participate.
5 – SUPER PARTY: Whether you like football or not this annual event is always a lot of fun. We provide burgers and hotdogs and you can sign up to bring a side item or dessert- along with all your friends. This will take place at the Boy & Girls Club on the Malibu High campus so along with plenty of tailgating food there are activities for everyone. Email us to sign up and for directions.
23 – FEED THE HOMELESS: Whether it is cooking, donating or serving you can be an expression of God’s love to those in transition. Serving takes place at 6:45PM in Webster School-3602 Winter Canyon in Malibu.
24 – YOUTH BIG EVENT: Let the games begin! This month middle & high school students are invited to take to the ice for some late night broom ball. No skating experience is necessary (skates are not used). The cost is $20 (bring extra for In-N-Out) and we will leave from the MHS parking lot at 6:30pm and return to Malibu around 10:45.
25 – WOMEN’S MOVIE NIGHT: Chick flick at Muvico. We will meet in the Oaks Mall food court at 5pm for a bite to eat then head over to watch “This Means War.” Pay for your ticket by this Sunday so we can get all the seats together.
